Applying epoxy fairing filler
If you don't like dust don't build a fiberglass boat :)

Here is the West System light weight filler that I'm using to fair the hull.

A friend of mine loaned me a couple of really nice air sanders. This board sander makes it easier to create a level faired surface. The right tools always make a huge difference. Thanks Keith.

After some sanding I found the low and high spots with the board sander. Smooth and true.

Still fairing everything out. I like the fact that I can apply the light color filler, sand and know when I see the darker colored filler and fiberglass below I need to stop. I don't want to sand into the weave of the fiberglass and compromise the strength. Although the boat is so stiff I think I could have gotten away with two layers of glass instead of three.
