Paint- January 23, 2004

I dropped the hull off at Kevin Kirshacks paint and body shop a couple of weeks ago. Kevin is the fiberglass expert here in Toledo and he's also on my hockey team. He has experience painting boats, jetskis, snowmobiles, cars, etc.

I decided to have the boat pained a metallic silver. Kevin and his guys did an unbelievable job with the final fairing, filling and sanding. The paint is Imron with several coats of clear to give it that wet look. The paint is dry in the pictures below!

It's absolutely flawless. I hope it actually goes after all of this effort. Looks fast anyway.

Painted it now weighs 42lbs.
