Here is the template I used to create my rear plank attach part. I'm using a 1" x 2" micro cleat to secure the rope instead of a v cleat or spring.
Here is the plank attach hardwood epoxied in. I decided to try using a micro cleat to secure the plank attach rope.
I think this should work.
I'm using a Harken micro block to route the rope.
